High-performance sealing for safety transportation

Reliability and high-performance are the main features for sealing in aerospace, aircraft and marine industry. The materials can retain excellent sealing effect under extreme temperatures and pressures, and against exposure to aggressive chemicals.

MCM produces static and dynamic gaskets, sealing systems and parts in high-performance materials for the aerospace and aircraft sector.
All sealing solutions intended for the aeronautical sector can withstand high and low temperatures, the action of aggressive chemical agents, aeronautical fuels, hydraulic fluids, oils and greases. All applications are also characterized by high resistance to external agents such as sand or ice and low friction.

Performance in marine sector is critical: the humid and alkaline environment can put a strain on the tightness of the components, requiring only the highest quality spare parts.

MCM has high-performance sealing for marine with very high resistance to corrosion and thermal expansion.

Typical system applications include hydraulics, onboard system, lubrication systems, fuel systems and pneumatics.

We manufacture sealing solutions for:

  • Aircraft
  • Helicopters
  • Ships and submarines
Compounds for Aerospace, Aircraft and Marine applications

Materials

The following materials are the most commonly used

  • FFKM, evolast®

Characterised by a broad service temperature range from -46 °C to 340 °C, evolast® compounds exhibit remarkable resistance to aggressive chemicals, such as acids, organic and inorganic fluids, ketones, esters, solvents, amines, as well as hot water and steam.

  • FKM

Special compounds for explosive decompression (AED/RGD) ensure reliable performance in extreme conditions. Working within temperature ranges from -60 °C to 250 °C, these materials exhibit good physical properties and excellent chemical resistance.

  • HNBR

Tailored with special compounds to withstand explosive decompression (AED/RGD), exhibits excellent performance within a temperature range of -60 °C to 180 °C. HNBR based compounds have excellent physical properties and are resistant to aggressive chemical environments.
